Day 1Kuching - Kuala Lumpur - Danang – Hue (estimate 4 hours) - Hai Van - (boat tour)Perfume River - Thien Mu 7-storey Pagoda - Imperial Citadel & Imperial Museum

Hai Van – As the road curves back and forth, some slight bends, some hairpin turns, drivers are rewarded with spectacular views of misty mountains rising high over the South China Sea, deserted sandy beaches, forests and the twinkling lights of far-off cities.

Perfume River – The river was given its name over 100 years ago, due to the scent of flowers that dropped in the water from upriver orchards. As the strong floral scent was carried through the river during autumnal months, it resulted in locals naming it as Perfume River.

Thien Mu 7-storey Pagoda – This seven-storey pagoda is an icon of Vietnam and as potent a symbol of Hue as the Citadel.

Imperial Citadel & Imperial Museum – The Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, is an intriguing relic of Vietnam’s history and, signifying its historical and cultural importance, was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010.
